The Dallas office makes an impression at Bisnow's Office of the Future event

Data Projections' Scott Birdsong and Will Birchett from the Dallas office drew a crowd at Bisnow's Office of the Future event in early December held at the Westin Park Central. The event, hosted by the largest commercial real estate publication in the U.S., showcased the latest developments in office technology and welcomed 350 attendees.

Data Projections was the only technology provider present and demoed a SMART Board 8070i and a Cisco EX60 desktop unit. The Cisco unit was connected to a mini-network and iPad 2 to demonstrate the ability to make a wireless video call from anywhere in the world. The equipment proved to be a huge draw with attendees stopping to write on the board, make calls and discuss the technology.

Scott and Will explained to attendees that the company has seen the use of technology in the workplace greatly multiply in the past few years, and that SMART Boards are replacing traditional white boards because of their ability to capture and email information and be used for video conferencing.
