Data Projections' Mike Fornander Joins Idaho's Technology Task Force
Mike Fornander, regional vice president of Data Projections Boise, has been appointed as a business community representative of the Idaho Department of Education's Students Come First Technology Task Force.
The 39-member task force is led by Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna and was formed in response to Idaho's education reform laws, specifically Senate Bill 1184. The task force is in charge of deciding how computers and technology will be used in classrooms across the state.
The task force is made up of a cross section of the educational and technology sectors, and includes teachers, school board trustees, parents and local business people.
The first official meeting of the task force was televised on Boise's KTVB, and can be viewed on the station's website.
