Making Communications Simple For Everyone.


The Situation

AspireHR, an HR SAP consulting firm, needed to bridge the communication gap between four office locations across the country and one in the U.K. Already comfortable with technology, AspireHR was open to bringing in the latest technology to reach its goal of collaborating with all offices for weekly meetings and ongoing strategic planning discussions. With more than 15 employees working from remote locations, AspireHR wanted the capability to conduct "face-to-face" meetings and share content while utilizing its executive boardroom as the main hub for connecting to their employees.

The Solution

Our consultants met with AspireHR to gain a complete understanding of the firm's audio/visual needs and to provide recommendations. Data Projections then brought AspireHR's ideas to life by integrating an interactive whiteboard, HD display, videoconferencing system, wireless microphones, projector, DVD and wireless touch panel.

Using the videoconferencing system, AspireHR is able to call out to all of the necessary attendees who participate in the weekly meetings using laptop webcams while displaying their image on a 58" HD display. Using their interactive whiteboard, participants can pull up documents, make edits, type notes and share immediately with others involved in the meeting. The display can be easily interchanged to show the display from the interactive whiteboard or feed from the videoconference, allowing participants to toggle between content and conduct their meetings more efficiently.

Using the wireless touch panel, AspireHR can seamlessly control audio volume, the video being displayed, DVD, projector and screen.
 

The Results

AspireHR utilizes the technology during every meeting it conducts in its executive boardroom and employees are comfortable using the equipment because of the easy-to-use features of the touch panel. Each time a document is used during a meeting, it is effortlessly sent to all attendees as a pdf document, allowing more effective use of time by distributing pertinent documents immediately without having to gather information.

The advantages of the integrated audio/visual systems go beyond immediate usage. AspireHR has seen both significant cost savings from less flight and other travel expenses, as well as increased productivity. AspireHR also now uses audio/visual technology beyond employee meetings for client meetings, both current and prospective.
